COVID-19 Catch-up Premium
Following the closure of schools in March 2020 and then in Jan 2021, the Government have provided additional funding to support pupils. This funding is intended to address the potential gaps in learning as a result of not being in school. Below is a review of how Capel Primary School used these funds, alongside a plan for our continued use in September 2021.
Our main priority is to support pupils who have been disadvantaged by the time away from school and have therefore not maintained the progress that was expected. To this end, we will be supporting pupils directly through tutoring, either individually or through small groups.
